Dayton State Park features 'Once Upon a Trail: Whose Tracks are These?' in August
DAYTON, Nev. — Join park staff and River Wranglers for a fun-filled, family-friendly morning as they read the children’s book Whose Tracks are These? while discussing local wildlife such as bats, snakes, beavers and birds.
Participants will go for a short walk to the Carson River to look for signs of wildlife and then make their own plaster animal tracks to take home! This program was funded by the Bessie Minor Swift Foundation. We suggest bringing a picnic and having lunch in the park after the program!
WHAT: Once Upon a Trail: Whose Tracks are These?
WHEN: Saturday, August 17, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. We are able to accept cash or check. There is no additional charge for this program. Please use the self-pay station at the park entrance.
